Contemporary abstract painting hinged with a piece of frayed linen and some sewing.
Being a creative, I also love sewing and in the past had my own design and sewing factory - so I though I would incorporate sewing into my artwork. It has given a different dimension with the small black dots coming through from the bobbin thread.
This particular art work has a small V on the top from one of the paintings that my 20 month old grandson - Tommy - painted. He loves painting and asks to use the brush and paint almost every time I see him. I love witnessing the freedom that children have on paper - it warms my heart.
