Preparing the Blueberry Fields

There is an expectancy in the spring in the Fraser Valley that the blooms will come which will yield to fields of blueberries. But, there is a lot of work that has to be done. The tractors are in the field and farmers pray for the sun to bake the plants for a lush July crop. We mostly missed our season last year due to a great flood - it hasn’t stopped raining for months here this year but we prepare and hope that all will be well.
